PHorTheKids takes any and all donations to purchase clothing, school supplies and toys for the less fortunate children of various areas in the Philippines. These kids are so in need and are so polite and thankful for anything they get. If you could see them and their hardships... your heart would break for not helping.

Joanne's friend Don is fundraising for The Boston Public Library as part of raising funds for the Boston Marathon charity bib.  The funds raised in this campaign will go towards enhancing and enriching the after-school youth programs, which, true to the Library’s mission, are always “Free to All.”  You can learn more about Don and the Boston Marathon’s journey supporting the Boston Public Library here.

 The goal of Feeding Heroes is to provide a minimum of 5000+ meals to the frontlines while supporting as many small businesses as they can reach, in the fight against Covid19.  They hope to expand into  other community service departments such as first responders & testing centers.  You can support their mission here.

Doctors Without Borders is an international humanitarian medical non-governmental organization of French origin best known for its projects in conflict zones and in countries affected by endemic diseases.  In 2019, the group was active in 70 countries.  You can support their mission here.

Global FoodBanking Network partners with local leaders to launch food banking operations in communities and countries where they had not previously existed. Since 2006, GFN has supported the launch of food banking organizations in 15 countries, making it possible for people in need to have access to food, and empowering those communities to support those who suffer from hunger and lack of nutrition.  

Joanne learned about and decided to fundraise for Rays of Sunshine after learning about the organization while completing the Virtual London Marathon.   Rays of Sunshine exists to grant the wishes of children who are living with serious or life-threatening illnesses between the ages of 3-18 who live in the United Kingdom. With your help they and their families can experience the joy and excitement of doing something they've only ever dreamt of before. With your help, we can turn wishes into happy memories 

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Our mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities. We ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.

Humanitas strives to provide children and adults with essentials that not only help them to survive, but also flourish.  They were formed in 2001.

 This fundraiser was organized by the Indianapolis Melting Pot to support the Nashville Melting Pot staff following the Christmas Day 2020 Nashville bombing which damaged their restaurant. 

This organization's mission is to invest in childhood  by giving children a healthy start, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. By transforming children's lives now, we change the course of the future. 

My dad passed away unexpectedly in February from cardiac arrest.  This foundation's goal is to help awareness of cardiac arrest and save lives.

This organization provides cash directly to Nigeria to help raise public awareness of vaccine and help increase vaccines available to the area.  This program is extra special to me because my father lived in Nigeria for several years.

Care India supplies hospitals and frontline workers in India with masks, protective equipment, and other supplies to help them in the battle against Covid.

In honor of the Islanders Stanley Cup playoff run, I have selected this month's donation to go to thier foundation.  All funds raised support child-related causes, first responder and military initiatives, and hockey inclusiveness in the New York Metro area.
